Research
ISMANS’s research aims to develop innovative solutions to the world’s most daunting challenges. ISMANS’s research efforts are enhanced through creative collaborations with leading research institutes and consortia around the world. Above all, the research and development is dynamic and industry-oriented.
ISMANS also takes part in an Industry Liaison Program (ILP) which enables the Institute to collaborate with more than 650 companies in its programs of research and training.
ISMANS hosts Ph.D students and postdoctoral research fellows in addition to visiting professors. A chair and the Benoît Mandelbrot prize are awarded each year to a worthy scientist of international repute.
ISMANS hosts the Franco-Japanese Benoît Mandelbrot Institute (IFJ) born out of the collaboration with the Japanese company Menicon.
Research at ISMANS encourages and supports enterprise creation.
