Ivy League in automotive engineering - ISMANS Group

Young Institute of Technology raised from a team of scientists coming from the Research Centre of Alcatel-Alsthom company located in le Mans one of international centre for automotive racing, ISMANS is a prototype of educational group anticipating the Knowledge Society. Small size structure, but highly connected at national and international level, source of international spin off companies, ISMANS expends its efficiency through one hundred of experts in mechanical design, simulation, applied mathematics, virtual and security engineering, numerical design, materials sciences and including software providers and project managers. Its rank in the French « Ivy League » of engineering school stands its slot in the top ten of the most efficient educational cluster (Research/Education/SME) in France.
Among other competences ISMANS is recognised for advanced skills in the frame of automobile design and security. As an example among others, an ISMANS student obtained of the French National Society of Train (SNCF Rail & Research security award). The optimisation of this calculus has been performed by a student in addition graduated in the frame of project management another field of competences of ISMANS Group.

ISMANS Group is also a research team in mechanics.

As an example ... Patented in 1996 by ISMANS ARTEC Aerospace Group, the SPADD system is a large frequency band passive anti vibrating system already applied in spatial technological fields. It is currently in development in aeronautic and automotive industry. In the field of automobile industrialisation concerns the dampers but also the silent block, the cell, the windscreen, the transmission.
