Le Mans Automotive Institute
Official representative of the automotive sector in the Pays de la Loire
An association founded in July 2005, the Le Mans Automotive Institute
promotes best
practices and know-how in the automotive and racing industry on behalf of the
economic
stakeholders in the Pays de la Loire region. One of its objectives is also to
establish a
network between existing training courses.
The main remit of the Le Mans Automotive Institute is to promote the economic
development of the automotive industry. Its activities focus on three main aspects:
- Study
and definition of a technological platform dedicated to motor vehicles
(cars,
trucks and motor bikes, from mass production to racing)
- Participation in
the development of dedicated training, innovation and
technological research in companies, training centres and research institutes
- Improving
the economic and scientific image of the motor vehicle in the region
with a view to promoting its industrial and educational development
It is, therefore, a forum for reflection on new training concepts designed
to safeguard
the future of the sector encompassing both its industrial, service (repairs,
sales…) and
racing dimensions.
